In the Church & Community

We all have gifts and it’s important for each of us to share them at South End..

If you're not sure where your gifts best fit, try our gifts survey to help identify areas of ministry that you may enjoy. You can complete an easy interest form or contact us about any of the opportunities we offer.

There are several opportunities to volunteer at South End:

Teachers

Help shape the faith of children and youth by offering leadership on Sunday mornings. Materials and support are provided by ministry leaders in these areas.

Van Drivers

Be part of a team that offers a ride to worship to people unable to drive or drive the church van for trips or to pick up and drop off neighbors.

Audio/Visual Operators

Assist in worship by helping to record the Sunday morning services. Many people participate in our services each week, your gifts can also help.

Ushers

Ushers - A welcoming smile and greeting starts Sunday off right for everyone coming to worship. Usher teams distribute bulletins and assist in seating the congregation.

Home Communion

Each First Sunday, our pastor, elders and a deacon offer home communion to allow homebound members an opportunity to celebrate the sacrament we enjoy in worship. This extension of the feast is a reminder of God's love and grace and keeps people connected to our community of faith.

Food Pantry

A group of volunteers work weekly to help those in our community that need assistance. Let us know if you would like to volunteer or if you need assistance.
